Tuamotu Atolls: Rangiroa to the Blue Lagoons
Rangiroa – The Endless Lagoon
Arrive at Rangiroa, an atoll so vast its lagoon has its own horizon. Settle aboard and drift the Tiputa Pass at slack tide, where bottlenose dolphins play in the current.
Rangiroa – The Blue Lagoon
Tender to the famed Blue Lagoon, a lagoon within a lagoon fringed by bird-filled motus. Snorkel over coral gardens in warm, waist-deep water and lunch on a deserted sandbank.
At Sea – Crossing to Fakarava
A day under sail across open water to the Fakarava UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Trail a line for mahi-mahi, watch for seabirds, and arrive as the sun drops behind the reef.
